Origami Stars
Sometimes when I'm online watching YouTube or Anime, I grab a few designed or plain colorful strips of paper and fold them into stars. I been making these origami stars since middle school and been collection a few full jars of BIG and small Stars. I remember... back in Middle and High School.... I made a few and put them in these colorful mini Chinese food to go boxes as birthday gifts to a few friends. LOL! That was so long ago... wow O_O'' Anyways, there are many ways you can use these after your done folding them into stars. You can make these stars into a necklace or bracelet adding beads. You can also hang these stars on the ceiling in any part of a room, bedroom, baby nursery etc... (using colorful threads) or stuff them in goodie bags or baskets. Back in the days... my younger sister Amy and I shared a bedroom together and we both made some glow in the dark ones teehee... at night it would glow while we sleep looking up to the ceiling and I felt like we were camping outside. LOL!
These Origami Stars are easy to make and can be purchased at a few Asian market and online. Also, you can design your own or just use colorful papers. A good starting size is about 30cm, or 1 foot long, and about 1cm wide, or about half an inch.
(Origami Star Instructions does not belong to me, it is place here for viewing purposes only)
From what I heard....When someone gives you a jar of Origami Star, it means that they are giving you a Wish or for GOOD luck.
I like to put these stars in jars and make my own wishes ^_^ LOL! It's really cute! Give it a try! =^_^=
